    ประเทศไทยเป็นประเทศที่มีความอุดมสมบูรณ์มาช้านาน ชาวประชาต่างอยู่ร่วมกันในสังคมแห่งความเอื้อเฟื้อ เผื่อแผ่ และมีน้ำใจได้อย่างมีความสุข วิถีแห่งชีวิตของผู้คนดำเนินไปอย่างเรียบง่ายแต่ได้บรรยากาศของความเป็นไทยซึ่งถือว่าเป็นการแสดงเอกลักษณ์ในด้านความเป็นอยู่ที่ลงตัว หากท่านผู้ที่ได้มาเยี่ยมเยือนประเทศไทย ล้วนจำต้องจดจำความประทับใจที่ได้จากสยามเมืองยิ้มไปนานเท่านาน
และคงยากที่จะปฏิเสธว่าจะไม่กลับมาอีก ได้เป็นแน่

    ความเป็นชาติและการบ่งบอกถึงความรักสามัคคีปรอกดองมิได้แสดงออกจากวิถีการดำเนินชีวิตที่ราบเรียบเท่านั้น
หากแต่ยังมีสิ่งหนึ่งที่ผู้เยี่ยมเยือนล้วนกล่าวขานขนานนาม นั่นก็คือความจงรักภักดิ์ดีต่อสถาบันพระมหากษัตริย์ ซึ่งชาวไทยเปรียบเสมือนสมมติเทพที่จุติมายังโลกมนุษย์ เพื่อเป็นร่มโพธิ์ร่มไทรให้ชาวประชาได้อยู่กันอย่างผาสุขสวัสดิ์
พระองค์ผู้ปกครองโดยทศพิศราชธรรม ประทานสุข บรรเทาทุกข์ ทุ่มเทประวรกายทรงตรากตรำในพระราชกรณียกิจมานานกว่าหกสิบพรรษา บัดนี้พระองค์ทรงมีพระชนมายุแปดสิบเอ็ดพรรษาแล้ว ท่านยังทรงประกอบประราชกรณียกิจอย่างสม่ำเสมอเรื่อยมา
เพียงเพื่อเล็งเห็นว่าความสุขของชาวประชา คือความสุขที่พระองค์พึงทอดพระเนตรอย่างสุขพระราชหฤทัย
นี่แหละคือความน่าท่องเที่ยวของประเทศไทย นอกจากสิ่งที่กล่าวมาข้างต้นจะบ่งบอกถึงลักษณะของชาวไทยที่มีน้ำใจไมตรีแล้ว ยังบอกถึงความบริสุทธ์ใจและความรู้สึกที่ดีต่อการเคารพผู้มาเยือยทุกท่านอย่างหาที่ใดเปรียบเทียบได้ยากนัก

   หากกล่าวถึงสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวในประเทศไทยแล้ว หลายคนที่เคยมาคงอยากจะบรรยายอย่างตื่นเต้นให้ใครต่อใครฟัง
เพราะความงามของสถานที่ต่างๆที่ขึ้นชื่อว่าเป้นประเทศไทย ล้วนถูกแต่งแต้มจนเต็มไปด้วยรอยยิ้มที่เป็นธรรมชาติจากชาวไทย
และความงดงามของภูมิประเทศเหล่านั้น ยังคงเป้นสิ่งที่ช่วยดึงดูดให้ประเทศไทยน่าท่องเที่ยวเป็นอย่างยิ่ง
ทั้งนี้ปัจจุบันการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทยได้เปิดกว้างและสนับสนุนให้มีการจัดสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวที่น่าสนใจต่างๆมากมาย
และที่สำคัญนั้น แทบทุกจังหวัดล้วนมีสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวที่มอบความประทับใจจนยากจะลืมทั้งสิ้น

   สถานที่ท่องเที่ยวส่วนใหญ่เป็นธรรมชาติ และมีเอกลักษณ์โดดเด่นที่สเน่ห์น่าค้นหา และดึงดูดใจผู้พบเห้นเสมอๆ
ไม่ว่าจะเป็น น้ำตก ภูเขา ทะเล หรือแม้แต่วัดวาอาราม ที่ดูร่มเย็น แต่ที่จะไม่กล่าวถึงไม่ได้ก็เห้นจะเป็น โบราณสถานที่ประกอบด้วยโบราณวัตถุมากมาย
ทำให้นักท่องเที่ยวได้ศึกษาประวัติศาสตร์ชาติไทยไปพร้อมๆกับการท่องเที่ยวที่แสนผ่อนคลายได้

   สถานที่ท่องเที่ยวที่เราจะแนะนำนั้นเป็นเพียงสถานที่ถูกสุ่มขึ้นมาทั้งสิ้น เพราะทุกๆสถานที่ที่กล่าวถึงและไม่ได้ถูกกล่าวถึง ล้วนมีความน่าสนใจด้วยกันทั้งสิ้น

Chicago attracted a combined 44.2 million people in 2006 from around the nation and abroad.[4] Upscale shopping along the Magnificent Mile, thousands of restaurants, as well as Chicago's eminent architecture, continue to draw tourists. The city is the United States' third-largest convention destination.[39] Most conventions are held at McCormick Place, just south of Soldier Field. The historic Chicago Cultural Center (1897), originally serving as the Chicago Public Library, now houses the city's Visitor Information Center, galleries, and exhibit halls. The ceiling of Preston Bradley Hall includes a 38-foot (11 m) Tiffany glass dome. Millennium Park, initially slated to be unveiled at the turn of the 21st century, and delayed for several years, sits on a deck built over a portion of the former Illinois Central rail yard. The park includes the reflective Cloud Gate sculpture (known locally as "The Bean"). A Millennium Park restaurant outdoor transforms into an ice rink in the winter. Two tall glass sculptures make up the Crown Fountain. The fountain's two towers display visual effects from LED images of Chicagoans' faces, with water spouting from their lips. Frank Gehry's detailed stainless steel band shell Pritzker Pavilion, hosts the classical Grant Park Music Festival concert series. Behind the pavilion's stage is the Harris Theater for Music and Dance, an indoor venue for mid-sized performing arts companies, including Chicago Opera Theater and Music of the Baroque.

In 1998, the city officially opened the Museum Campus, a 10-acre (4-ha) lakefront park surrounding three of the city's main museums: the Adler Planetarium, the Field Museum of Natural History, and the Shedd Aquarium. The Museum Campus joins the southern section of Grant Park which includes the renowned Art Institute of Chicago. Buckingham Fountain anchors the downtown park along the lakefront. The Oriental Institute, part of the University of Chicago, has an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian and Near Eastern archaeological artifacts. Other museums and galleries in Chicago are the Chicago History Museum, DuSable Museum of African-American History, Museum of Contemporary Art, the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, the Polish Museum of America, Museum of Broadcast Communications and the Museum of Science and Industry.

  There are differing theories as to the origin of the name of the falls. According to Iroquoian scholar Bruce Trigger, "Niagara" is derived from the name given to a branch of the locally residing native Neutral Confederacy, who are described as being called the "Niagagarega" people on several late 17th century French maps of the area.[6]

   A number of figures have been suggested as first circulating an eyewitness description of Niagara Falls. Frenchman Samuel de Champlain visited the area as early as 1604 during his exploration of Canada, and members of his party reported to him the spectacular waterfalls, which he described in his journals. Finnish-Swedish naturalist Pehr Kalm explored the area in the early 1700s and wrote of the experience. The consensus honoree is Belgian Father Louis Hennepin, who observed and described the Falls in 1677, earlier than Kalm, after traveling with explorer René Robert Cavelier, Sieur de la Salle, thus bringing the Falls to the attention of Europeans. Further complicating matters, there is credible evidence that French Jesuit Reverend Paul Ragueneau visited the Falls some 35 years before Hennepin's visit, while working among the Huron First Nation in Canada. Jean de Brébeuf also may have visited the Falls, while spending time with the Neutral Nation.[7]

  During the 18th century tourism became popular, and by mid-century, it was the area's main industry. Napoleon Bonaparte's brother Jérôme visited with his bride in the early 19th century.[8] In 1837 during the Caroline affair a rebel supply ship, the Caroline was burned and sent over the Falls. Demand for passage over the Niagara River led in 1848 to the building of a footbridge and then Charles Ellet's Niagara Suspension Bridge. This was supplanted by German-born John Augustus Roebling's Niagara Falls Suspension Bridge in 1855. After the American Civil War, the New York Central railroad publicized Niagara Falls as a focus of pleasure and honeymoon visits. With increased railroad traffic, in 1886, Leffert Buck replaced Roebling's wood and stone bridge with the predominantly steel bridge that still carries trains over the Niagara River today. The first steel archway bridge near the Falls was completed in 1897. Known today as the Whirlpool Rapids Bridge, it carries vehicles, trains, and pedestrians between Canada (through Canadian Customs Border Control) and the U.S.A. just below the Falls. In 1941 the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission completed the third current crossing in the immediate area of Niagara Falls with the Rainbow Bridge, carrying both pedestrian and vehicular traffic between the two countries and Canadian and U.S. customs for each country.

  After the First World War, tourism boomed again as automobiles made getting to the Falls much easier. The story of Niagara Falls in the 20th century is largely that of efforts to harness the energy of the Falls for hydroelectric power, and to control the development on both sides that threaten the area's natural beauty.

The bay is deep enough to swim in year round, and the rich coral reef is a haven for marine life; where shoals of tropical Queenfish swim between mesmerizing fluorescent corals, making it amongst the best dive and snorkeling spots on the island. The pace of development has been slow and tasteful on Ao Chao Phao, and it retains the peaceful beauty and laid back vibe the drew the first island explorers here, then made them return year after year.
